Quick Thoughts on iOS 4.1…

  1. They FINALLY added AVRCP (Bluetooth support) for next/previous. It works in my Ford Sync system (1.3). Its slower than if it were hardwired (a lag of 2-3 seconds between button press and it changing tracks), but better for those short drives where I don’t want to bother taking my iPhone out of my pocket.
  2. I cant tell if they fixed the POP3 problem I had, since I have switched all my mail accounts to a Google Apps hosted account, using ActiveSync for mail and calendars.
  3. HDR photos are really nice, I leave it on as the default now and delete the worse looking picture.
  4. Ping seems more about following bands. I’ve only had one friend sign up and friend me.
