In the recent Family Guy release, Blue Harvest (the Star Wars parody show), they included a second DVD with copies of the movie in portable formats for users to watch on their PlaysForSure device as well as the iPhone/iPod. The experience was painful. Here is how it went down.
Apple had their Stevenote today, and its a mixed bag. I was hoping for more, but in the end I think its the best Apple can do for now in the content arena since they have to work with the paranoid movie studios.
BusinessWeek is reporting that Apple is close to closing deals with various movie studios to bolster their online efforts for video distribution.
